The Aavo Handpainted Kettle is a decorative aluminium kettle finished in the Pattachitra folk-art tradition. A bold red base is decorated with a pair of wide-eyed birds among stylised blue leaves, with fine feather detailing painted by hand, including a small bird on the spout. Each kettle is painted individually, so the brushwork and finish vary from piece to piece and every one is slightly different.
It is lightweight, with a sturdy carry handle and a lift-off lid, and works well as a decorative piece on a shelf, mantel or styled tray. The style suits boho, eclectic and traditional interiors. It is intended as a decorative and serving showpiece rather than a stovetop boiler, and can be used to hold fresh blooms, to present at a tea gathering, or as a gift.
